Australia's Legendary Train Journeys; Rechte: united docs

The Ghan, one of the most famous train journeys in the world, crosses Australia from the south to the north through the Red Centre of the continent. In three days and two nights, we travel from Adelaide in the far south to Darwin in the tropical north. For our journey from Melbourne, we take another legendary train, the Overland. This famous express train crosses the state of Victoria. On our journey we experience the magnificent landscapes of the south coast, enjoy breathtaking desert panoramas and finally reach the glorious blue waters of the north. Our adventurous route is lined with interesting people and exciting stories: a rescue centre for joeys, winegrowing in the Barossa Valley, the last opal miners in the desert, the aboriginal artists of Alice Springs, and the city of Darwin, Australia’s gate to Asia.
